Jake Herbert a member of RHI Indiana Pacers just competed in the first AAU World International Championship for Powerlifting. It was held at the Rio in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 25-27th. He competed in the powerlifting bench press and also in the Feats of Strength in bench press for reps. For powerlifting bench press; his first attempt was 253lbs, followed by his second attempt of 264lbs. That was followed by his final attempt at 270lbs, which sadly he missed by not locking it out. The next day he would compete in the Feats of Strength in bench press for reps, which he did 220lbs for 8 reps, but he slipped off the bench and was forced to rack the bar. At the end of the weekend, Jake won the world international championship and set 2 national records and one world record.
