On the 15th and 16th of November, the RHI Mini Pacers travelled to Ft. Wayne, IN to play in a small tournament at the Turnstone Center. The kids, parents, and coaches were very excited to play the first tournament of the year. The Mini Pacers had three games on Saturday and two on Sunday. The team ended up winning all 5 five games and took home first place! They all showed great improvement at the end of the tournament from the first game. The undefeated RHI Mini Pacers travel to Rockford, IL on December 6th-7th.
The RHI Racers varsity team also travelled to Turnstone, Ft. Wayne, IN to compete in the JV/Varsity tournament on November 22nd and 23rd. With 3 new members the RHI Racers are a young team. They had a tough schedule on Sunday going 0-2, but game back strong on Sunday. Taking what they learned from the day before they pulled out two wins, both coming by 25+ points. Ending the tournament 2-2 the RHI Racers came home to practice hard for their next tournament on December 6th and 7th in Rockford, IL.
